James E. Allen Jr.

James is the Assistant Director of NSTP where he oversees both the FASET Orientation Program and the Wreck Camp Extended Orientation program. James also advises the Transfer Student Association on campus.

James completed his Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at New Mexico State University where he began his Student Affairs journey as a Community Assistant. While working full-time as a Residence Hall Director for 2 1/2 years, James completed his Masters in Student Affairs and Higher Education at Stephen F. Austin State University. James completed a year of being a Residence Hall Director at Georgia Tech before joining New Student & Transition Programs as the Coordinator for Wreck Camp Extended Orientation in February 2020. James is currently pursuing his Doctoral Degree in Higher Education Administration at the University of West Georgia.
